The Process
“Who What Why”
Building relationships is key to telling an authentic story. By collaborating closely, we’ll uncover the essence of your story, understand your audience, and find the best way to engage them. We love getting to know you, what you do, and why you do it.
2. Strategy + Proposal
Making a video involves many details, from pre-production through deployment. From start to finish, we work closely with you. Our goal is to evoke emotion in your viewers, making them more likely to connect with and share your story. You’re the insider, and we’re here to help craft the perfect strategy, timeline, and budget for your project.
3. Budget
Video production costs vary widely, so we custom bid each project based on your needs ans scope. Whether you have a big budget or a tight one, we can scale our projects to fit. Let’s chat about your project and come up with a free cost proposal.
4. The Plan
Pre-production is where the project picks up momentum. We’ll form the narrative arc, develop the script, cast characters, scout locations, build shot lists and storyboards, secure permits, select music, and coordinate schedules and locations.
5. The Shoot
This is the most immersive part of the process. We’ll follow our plans closely while leaving space to be oppertunistic. Some of the most beautiful scenes come together simply by aligning all the components together into one space and time.
6. The Edit
Post-production begins with logging and backing up all your content. Then, we meticulously assemble a narrative arc, obsess over the nuances, polish the edges, then obsess and polish some more. We aim for the first draft to be the only draft, (though we of course leave room for feedback) Once approved, you download and send off your video to take on a life of it’s own.
7. Deployment
We can of course help you strategize and tackle any technical hurdles to get your video seen by as many people as possible. Picking the right platform, placing it in a presentation, strategizing ad campaigns, connecting you to the right media outlets, etc. - We’ve done it all.
