Over time I've modified and improved my homemade timelapse dolly. I've shot A LOT of timelapse dollies and I can proudly say I've clicked every millimeter of every camera movement by hand. Here is a peek at my rigs. And no I don't really have plans of upgrading to one of those awesome motorized dollies that all of those great companies are putting out. I'm running a business and I need the thousands of dollars that I'd easily spend on motorized dolly gear. I'll keep refining and enhancing my set up. Someday, I'll get bored enough to maybe break down and buy a cineslider or motorized system that would allow me to put the shot in cruise control. For now, I'm driving.
